Community Dental in Rumford is awesome. The hygienist was very kind and Dr. Wendy Williams is an awesome dentist...very VERY patient with phobic patients like myself. The other thing I wanted to mention is that Dr. Williams is "genuine"...nothing false about her. She took the time to explain what was going to happen and was very sensitive to my anxiety problems. She is an AMAZING asset to the office and I appreciate her.
On Monday, my dentist diagnosed a cracked tooth and recommended extraction. Unfortunately, he did not remove teeth. Unable to get an appointment within 40 miles without waiting at least 6 weeks and being put on a waiting list for a cancelation, I did an online search and found Community Dental in Rumford, Maine. It was late Friday morning when I called, and was told I could walk-in. On Friday afternoon, my abscessed, cracked tooth was removed. Yes, there was a wait, but the staff fit me in between patients. At 6 pm when the anesthetic wore off, I was pain-free for the first time in 5 days. Thank you Dr. Mohamed, Nicole, and the receptionist (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name). The skill was outstanding, the care was superb, the compassion was genuine, and the price was reasonable. On this, my first visit, I was seen on extremely short notice and treated like I had been a long-standing patient. The staff was courteous and kind.
